    While this may be true, they are extremely expensive to maintain and repair. This would have the average buyer dreading making that trip to the mechanic. Japanese vehicles however, are imports well known for their reliability and affordability. But if you are not in the market for a luxurious vehicle, why buy an import when domestic vehicles from brands like ford, dodge and Chevrolet are producing very reliable and affordable vehicles. It is cheap and easy to maintain and repair domestic vehicles as parts are readily available. Brands like Honda and Toyota used to be popular for their fuel economy and reliability but now domestic brands are refocusing to provide more fuel efficient vehicles as consumers demand. So which is the best, domestic or import? I really depends what you are looking for. If you are looking for affordability, reliability and supporting your local businesses then we would recommend purchasing a domestic car.
